Poetry Open Mic @ Brooklyn Exposure this Thursday, June 24th – featuring “The Werdsman“.

A Poetry Open Mic will be presented by Cyn & Jarrod @ the Brooklyn Exposure featuring the talented Spoken Word Poetry of Poetry Author David “Werdsman” Lewis. Werdsman will be performing pieces from his latest book & CD “Poetry Don’t Pay the Bills” and upcoming book “Intellectual Ignorance” due for release in Oct 2010.

What is “Poetry Don’t Pay the Bills“? “It speaks of Life – the struggles that come along with my life and overcoming obstacles; Love – having it and losing it; Passion – for living out my dreams and my continuance of my poetry.” ~ The Werdsman

Also appearing at the Open Mic Night will be special guest stars – Miss Paula of “CandyFlavas” and R&B recording artist Chandler.
